Egypt is 90% desert, so people used irrigation to grow produce.
There is very little rain; when it did rain, the Nile flooded.
Black Land: Silt from the Nile, good for farming.
Red Land: Dry desert beyond river valley.

Polytheistic: Ancient Egyptians worshiped many gods.
Gods: Re (Sun god), Osiris (god of the underworld), Horus (sky god/god of the Pharaohs), and Isis (goddess of magic).
Daily life: Farmer- Got up early to go work in the fields. Ate bread and fruit for breakfast. The famer would go to the field and gather several baskets of harvest to go to the temple with for offering.
Daily Life: Noble- Ate bread and fruit for breakfast. he would oversee his land and the workers in it. He got reports of how the harvest would be. Later in the evening, he would host a banquet where only high-ranking people could come and all had to dress up.
